These uniquely colored vases are crafted exclusively from a small deposit of semi-precious stone located near the town of Mariposa, California.  The deep green and amber marbling through the creamy white stone is reminiscent of lush fern filled forest floor.  The color is so rich and vibrant in fact, that many admirers find it hard to believe that this is a naturally occurring stone and has not been artificially enhanced in any way.  Upon careful examination, many of these pieces reveal flecks of the sparkling gold pyrite that runs in thin veins through this colorful stone.
